Course Changes Posted, Check Schedule for New Course!

The days are getting shorter, the leaves have started to change, and the rain is just starting to fall.  The good news is winter disc golf in the Southern Willamette Valley Has begun!  Many of us look at the beginning of summer not with an eye to warm long days, but the end of your beloved Oregon Liquid Environment Series.  If you spend the winter longing to throw discs and spend a few hours with good friends come join us.

This winter marks the 15th anniversary of the Oregon Liquid Environment series, and is once again brought to you by the living legend (at least in his own mind), Tom Embree.

IThe 2007/08 OLE series consists of 8 one day tournaments at local Lane/Linn County and state Parks held on Saturdays throughout the winter. Most of the tournament locations are within a 40-minute drive of downtown Eugene.   All but two of the courses are temporary, where we the players supply the baskets.  This means we only get this one opportunity a year to play them.  The temporary courses are primarily in smaller parks and that means shorter fun holes.  This is not to say they are not challenging, just that you don’t have to be a top Pro player to enjoy the challenge.

Lunch are not provided, but are available. Gene Fackler and his wife provide complementary warm beverages at lunch and sell hot dogs ($1.00 turkey, $2.00 beef), chips and sodas.

Due to the increased popularity of the OLE series, all people wanting to play must be registered before 8:55am. If you are late, we are sorry, but we will no longer take registration after registration has closed. The short days coupled with large player turnout makes finishing before dark a challenge.
